Passport Photo:

~ Include a passport style photo on a white background, taken within the last 6 months.

Proof of Residence

~ Scanned copy of BRP card

~ OR other proof of resident status in the UK,

Note that this should be valid for more than 6 months after your return from Hong Kong.

Letter from Employment/Education facility

~ An original letter from your employer on business letterhead, with contact details, stating a leave of absence has been granted, purpose and duration of the trip and that you will be returning to your current job.

~ The Employment Letter must be addressed to Hong Kong High Commission

~ If you are self-employed, include a copy of your business license and tax return.

~ If you are retired please submit proof of your retirement fund.

Business Invitation.

~ Business invitation letter from the sponsoring company in Hong Kong. Should be printed on company letterhead stationary and:

1. Addressed to “The Embassy of Hong Kong”

2. Briefly introduce the applicant (specify employment status/position)

3. State the nature of the business conducted and the names and addresses of companies to be contacted in Hong Kong

4. Specify desired visa validity

5. Signed by a senior manager (an equivalent to VP or above)

Bank Statement.

~ Must provide a copy of a recent 3 months bank statements showing proof of sufficient funds.
