JAPAN~E-VISA
Eligibility
You must meet all the criteria:
~You are not a British Citizen, but you have permission to reside in the UK*.
~ The purpose of your visit to Japan is tourism.
~ You will stay in Japan for less than 90 days.
Requirements
Applicant must provide:
~ ID photo
~ Passport (has to be effective 6 months after entering Japan and in good condition)
~ Itinerary with flight information
~ Document to prove the ability to pay for travel expenses such as Bank statement for the last 3 months to show sufficient funds

~ You will be able to find a form/template in Regus Visas downloadable pack
Proof of UK residency (if applicable)
You will only need to provide one of the options:
~ The original UK visa must be supplied. If its on a card then also supply a copy of both sides. If the UK visa is in an old passport supply the passport plus copy of the visa and the photo bio page.
~ If the visa is in the current passport provide a photo copy of it.
~ 'Your immigration status' print out from gov.uk showing your name. ID photo, immigration status and 'Share code'.
Original or scanned letter from UK employer/academic
~ Must be addressed to Japanese Embassy in London
~ Must include details of the trip
~ Must state that the applicant will return to work/study after the trip
~ State that the applicant is employed at the firm/student at university
Copy of flight showing return or onward journey and copy of hotel information
Important information
~ Only those who enter Japan after 7 days or later from the day of application can apply for eVisa
~ Applicants are required to log onto the JAPAN eVisa website and display “Visa issuance notice” at departure airport on their phone screen. PDF or screenshot won’t be accepted
~ If applicable, payment must be made in cash at the Embassy of Japan in London. You may visit without the appointment to submit payment between 11:00-12:00 and 15:00-16:00 except weekends. You must print out and bring the Registration information form received through the Japan eVisa system
